Controlling Passenger Ship Emergencies (Online)

Online

History has shown that emergencies on passenger ships can be tragic if the crew do not handle them in a professional and logical manner.

This course provides passenger ship crews with a means to refresh knowledge around the management of emergencies and what passengers will be looking for from the crew. The course covers management tools that are available to the crew, leadership styles that should be used, and passenger behaviour when there is an emergency.

The course is completed with a short scenario based exercise where the student must make choices on how to manage the scenario.
