Provides training for officers and ratings assigned specific duties and responsibilities relating to oil and chemical tankers. AMSA approved meeting the requirements of STCW Reg V/1-1 and Code Section A-V/1-1, paragraph 1, Table A-V/1-1-1.

Tanker Familiarisation - Oil and Chemical (Online) is provided using the University of Tasmania’s online learning environment, MyLO.
The course involves the viewing of multiple videos, which require a reasonable internet connection speed. Certain components will need to be completed on a desktop/laptop computer, and we suggest using Google Chrome as your browser. To complete the final assessment, you will need access to a web camera.
