Provides training for officers and ratings assigned specific duties and responsibilities relating to tankers. AMSA-approved, meeting the requirements of STCW Reg V/1-1 and Code Section A-V/1-1, paragraph 1, Table A-V/1-1-1.

Course Entry Prerequisite

Please note the following prerequisite is for entry onto the course and evidence must be provided upon enrolment:

  • STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Certificate

Certification

The following certificate will be issued by AMC to participants who successfully complete* the course:

  • Tanker Familiarisation (Oil & Chemical) AMSA approved, meeting the requirements of STCW Reg V/1-1 and Code Section A-V/1-1, paragraph 1, Table A-V/1-1-1

*100% attendance, full participation and completion of all exercises is required.
