Obtain or renew a GMDSS Certificate with Australia's best equipped GMDSS training facilities and expert teaching
The GMDSS service remains vital for saving lives at sea. To help your organisation ensure its crew are GMDSS qualified, AMC Search has scheduled two GMDSS courses in July, and a further five for the remainder of 2019 to suit your schedules and rosters.
AMC Search offers Australia's best equipped GMDSS training facilities, including a brand-new GMDSS simulator in our Sydney Study Centre. GMDSS training is delivered by maritime communications expert Sanjiv Bhatia, who combines experience teaching with practical work on bulk carriers, tankers and passenger ships.
To make it easy for your company to ensure your crews' GMDSS qualifications are up-to-date, we have courses scheduled throughout the year in both Launceston and Sydney to suit your rosters. Select either GMDSS Communications or GMDSS Renewal for more information and dates.
This is a very good course, and the concepts were delivered well. The lecturer is excellent, and his communication and delivery of this course is exceptional.
A new GMDSS simulator in our Sydney Study Centre simulates all GMDSS equipment on ships, from DOS-based systems to the latest touch-screen systems. It also offers shore-based radio stations for hands-on experience. In Launceston, students train in a live GMDSS laboratory.Read about our Sydney simulations unit
