The Australian Defence Industry Awards is the premier event of the year that recognises the leading professionals and businesses in the defence community across our nation. From primes, SMEs, academic institutions, and associations through to high-performing individuals such as defence executives, Indigenous and female leaders, students, scientists, technicians, and academics, our prestigious awards program recognises all across Australian defence.
The finalist list, which was announced on Wednesday, 10 August 2022, features over 248 high-achieving professionals and businesses across 29 submission-based categories.
The awards are regarded as one of the defence industry’s most prestigious accolades, pinpointing professional development and showcasing the individuals and businesses leading the way in the industry.
Winners will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner at the National Convention Centre in Canberra on Thursday, 15 September 2022.
“Defence Connect first hosted the Australian Defence Industry Awards to recognise the tireless efforts of defence business professionals, acknowledging the industry’s best and brightest — from technicians to small businesses through to the primes,” Liam Garman, editor - defence and security at Momentum Media said.
“The Awards are the industry’s night of nights, applauding those who make defence one of Australia’s most innovative and cut-through industries.
“I would like to thank principal partner KBR and platinum partners Lockheed Martin and Airbus for their support of this program. I look forward to seeing all of our amazing finalists on the night!”
Dean Cook, CEO, at AMC Search, said that he is humbled to be recognised and proud to be named as a finalist in the Australian Defence Industry Awards 2022.
“AMC Search’s recognition for our excellent contribution to the defence industry reinforces the strength of our service and dedication to connecting with the community and engaging with clients,” he added.
