A team of specialist simulations and technical support staff available for the duration of commercial simulations.
The Centre for Maritime Simulations has a team of specialist simulations and technical support staff available for the duration of all commercial simulations.
A Simulation Facilitator, Technical Systems Specialist, Visual Systems Modeller (if/as required) and a Hydrodynamicist (if/as required) are all included in the hire rate for the simulator, helping us provide clients with a flexible and responsive service.
Sets up the simulation scenario and adjusts environmental conditions as required to meet the project outcomes. Easily makes changes to environmental conditions as the simulation progresses e.g. wind, waves, current, tide, weather, day/night. The main client point of contact during the simulation runs.
Provides technical support to ensure the continued smooth running of the simulation project.
Available for in-house area modelling. This allows the flexibility of incorporating changes to area models during simulations without having to wait for external providers.
Creates and modifies mathematical ship models created in-house. While simulations are ongoing, this is limited to minor changes due to the time taken to create ship models.
