AMC Search STCW Refresher training goes digital

AMC Search has reduced the time it takes to undertake its STCW Continued Competence Refresher training courses by over 50%.
In an exciting development, the theory section of the Continued Competence Refresher training courses have been digitised and placed online, creating a blended delivery model to reduce the time seafarers spend away from family and work commitments.
Working closely with AMSA, AMC Search has converted the theory sections of the course to its online learning management system MyLO.
MyLO provides trainees with the opportunity to undertake the theory sections of the training online in their own time from their home base, and can be completed in only a few hours instead of spending a full day in the classroom.
The practical sections of the courses will still be delivered at the Australian Maritime College’s world class training facilities, providing seafarers with the best possible learning experience.
To celebrate the introduction of the blended delivery model, AMC Search is offering a 10% discount on all Continued Competence Refresher training courses until December 31, 2021.
