Managing yourself and others

Are you a manager or leader in the maritime industry? 

If so, then you might be interested to know that AMC Search in collaboration with Engineering Education Australia are running a workshop that examines the required skills of leading and managing people in a diverse workplace and best practice strategies to improve the performance of themselves and others.

The workshop will also focus on providing feedback, allowing participants to practice delivering corrective feedback in a safe environment.

The one-day program will cover:

• The role and characteristics of a leader,
• The importance of leadership and communication skills,
• Building and sustaining relationships,
• Adapting management styles to suit the needs of staff, colleagues and stakeholders, and
• Delivering immediate and ongoing feedback.

The workshop will be held on April 2, 2019, at our Sydney Study Centre in Darling Harbour and costs $880.
