Fully online. Security Awareness Training is mandatory for all AMSA certificate holders. AMSA approved, meeting the requirements of STCW Reg VI/6 and Code Section A-VI/6 paragraph 4, Table A-VI/6-1.
It is mandatory for all AMSA certificate holders (Certificate of Proficiency, Certificate of Competency, Certificate of Safety Training, Chief Integrated Ratings) to hold a Security Awareness Endorsement.
Upon successful completion of the online course, an AMSA approved short course certificate will be issued, which will allow you to obtain an endorsement from AMSA.

Australian residents who successfully complete this course will also receive a Statement of Attainment for MARF003 Security Awareness Training. MARF003 is a nationally recognised unit of competency under the Australian Maritime College (RTO ID 60131).
