From the ship perspective, it covers ship types, how they work, what they carry, what rules apply to ships, and how they are managed.

For ports, an introduction is provided as to how a port operates, who the players are within a port, and how ports are managed.

The course aims to provide candidates with sufficient knowledge to understand the maritime industry's basic workings.
