This course introduces the student to the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code. The course details how the code is made up and what information is provided within the code. The different classes contained within the IMDG code are also discussed. Students will have a baseline level of understanding of what the IMDG code is and how it works to ensure safety of dangerous cargoes on board vessels.
