In this course, you will be introduced to the cargo systems utilised on a container vessel. This includes the system used for locations of containers, how containers are lashed, and the equipment used to undertake this lashing. You will also see the damage that can occur to containers if they are not secured correctly.

Learning Outcomes:Upon successful completion of this training, participants will:
1. Be able to use the location reference system for a container vessel.
2. Identify the equipment used for lashing containers on board a container vessel.
3. Recognise the damage that can occur to containers.
4. Know the requirements for positioning a refrigerated container.

Assessment:An assessment will be provided at the end of the course (fully online). You will have unlimited attempts to achieve the 100% pass mark.
