Maritime Constructions is a self-performing marine contractor that provides specialised engineering solutions to deliver complex dredging & marine infrastructure projects from design and construction through to commissioning. We offer projects including Jetty & Wharf design and construction; Dredging, Civil & Environmental Projects; Heavy Steel Fabrication; and Marine Asset Management & Maintenance.
MinRes Marine, a wholly-owned Mineral Resources subsidiary, has been established with the capability and experience to design, build, commission and operate innovative marine assets. The transhippers for our Onslow Iron project have been designed by MinRes Marine with the support of naval architects and engineering firms in Australia and Canada. The transhippers are part of MinRes' solution to bring stranded tonnes to market and lower the capital cost of port development. Each transhipper has a 20,000 tonne capacity and is fully enclosed and dust free. The transhippers have a single point loading system distributing the iron ore into a specifically designed hopper with a gravity-based self-discharging system capable of loading Capesize vessels offshore - the most cost-effective way to transport iron ore. The design prioritises safety, environment and operational efficiency, and is fully enclosed to prevent dust emissions during loading and discharge.

Sentinel Boats are designed to outperform and built to outlast. We combine specialised naval architecture and the unique material properties of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with our boat building skills and craftsmanship to create boats that support a wide range of customers. These range from rescue services and government agencies through to defence forces and law enforcement organisations, as well as commercial maritime businesses. In high usage and demanding situations, our boats will last 2-3 times longer, provide a superior ride, and require nearly no hull maintenance. We are a proudly Tasmanian business and have been building boats for over 30 years, with our earliest boats still in commercial survey despite demanding operational cycles and tasks.
