April 30, 2020
Rodney Willox, an AMC Search Pastoral Care Officer for the Pacific Patrol Boat (PPB) program has won the April 2020 AMC Service Award!
The cancellation of PPB training as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in 15 PPB trainees being stranded in Launceston after their nations shut down their borders before they could be repatriated.
Throughout this period, Rodney has provided support to the trainees, looking after all their needs and helping them during this very difficult time.
The award recognises all the great work Rodney is doing to make sure that all PPB trainees located in Launcesotn are comfortable and secure during these uncertain and stressful times.
Thank you Rodney for all your hard work, you are a worthy recipient of the AMC Service Award.
