Fiji Students Return to PPB Training
AMCS welcome Fiji’s return to the Pacific Patrol Boat training with the commencement of the recent Marine Technical Propulsion Level 1 Course. Peni Nagata, at the left of AMCS CEO Dean Cook, is the first Fijian trainee since 2006 to attend AMCS PPB training. He is looking forward to being the vanguard for others in years to come. Peni will be at AMC for 13 weeks as he conducts training to become a PPB engineering watchkeeper. This will include theoretical and practical training utilising the same equipment as is fitted to the PPB. His fellow trainees from around the Pacific were on hand to welcome him to AMC.
