Companies of attending candidates must declare prior to undergoing assessments that the candidate already possesses understanding of the expected Core Essential Knowledge areas of:
Practical assessments expose the candidates to a controlled, stressful, simulated emergency environment where they are required to meet performance criteria under the following elements:
The Emergency Procedures of the candidate's facility are to be provided in advance of the assessments.
The assessments are conducted using a simulator of the candidate's own Asset Type using the candidate's own procedures.
DURATION
There is no specific timing for the conduct of the OPITO OIM CE assessment however, allow approximately 5 hours per candidate.
Sufficient time is required to ensure that candidates can be assessed during a minimum of three (3) maximum of four (4) attempts.
NOTE: An additional OIM CE preparation program is an optional add on to help better prepare those that might benefit and is available in advance upon request.
PRE-REQUISITES
The Remote / Online OPITO OIM CE is an assessment only program therefore candidates should be READY and prepared to undergo Assessment. A 'Pre-assessment Company Guide and Declaration' sent by WGG must be completed and returned by the Client Company.
TECHNICAL AND LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
To achieve optimum training quality and effectiveness, candidates must first ensure they have a working computer and software available for use at the location of their assessment BEFORE any assessments commence.
*IMPORTANT: There is no requirement for any software to be downloaded by the candidate at any stage for any reason*
*WGG IT Staff will contact the candidates and conduct an online connectivity and functionality test with them in advance and before any assessments take place*
