AMC Search has published a new book, Ship Stability and Dynamics, by Captain John Milward.

Captain Milward is a senior AMC lecturer responsible for both 2 nd Mates and Chief Mates/Master studies, specialising in teaching Ship Stability, Cargo Handling and Hull Stresses.

The book provides an understanding of how the hydrostatic particulars of a ship's hull are derived and calculated. It also provides practical knowledge on operational considerations relating to the safety of ships.
