Through the establishment of the AMC Dynamic Positioning Unit (DPU), AMC Search is now able to offer Nautical Institute approved Basic (Induction) and Advanced (Simulator) DP Operator Courses, which, together with the requisite DP sea-time experience, leads to internationally recognised DP Operator certification.

The AMC DPU utilises a state of the art Dynamic Positioning (DP) training facility, based around the latest Kongsberg K-Pos dual redundant system. Its instructors are certified DP Operators who are also current serving DP Operators.
