Course Aim

LPS training has been successfully conducted in the UK for some time, and is available to those Australian ports that may require operators to have some working knowledge of VTS, but not full VTS certification.

The course is designed as a port specific professional development programme, and includes overviews on:

  • Human factors
  • Radio procedures
  • Traffic management
