Course Prerequisites

Australian issued Tanker Familiarisation Course, Basic First Aid Certificate (including CPR) and Basic Fire Fighting Certificate, or an Australian issued Certificate of Competency which is, or has been Tanker Safety endorsed.

Course Duration

Course Aim

The aim of these courses is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely handle, load, carry and discharge chemical tanker cargoes and the supervision and training of personnel involved in operation procedures.  Courses can be conducted interstate, internationally, and separately on demand.

Certificate

Upon successful completion, participants will be issued:

  • AMSA approved AMC Advanced Oil Tanker Safety Certificate meeting the requirements of Section    A-V/1-1-2, STCW78 as amended
  • AMSA approved AMC Advanced Chemical Tanker Safety Certificate meeting the requirements of Section    A-V/1-1-3, STCW78 as amended
