Fast Rescue Craft Operator’s Course (FRC)
Course Prerequisites
Please note the pre-requisite is for entry onto the course. In order for enrolment to be accepted, evidence must be provided at enrolment point.
A Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft and Basic First Aid Certificate (including resuscitation techniques) attained in the past two years, from a nationally recognised provider or verified continual sea services within the past two years, or an Australian issued Certificate of Competency.

Course Duration
3 daysCourse Aim
This course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to safely operate a Fast Rescue Craft (FRC) and handle a casualty in a FRC. The course will be delivered by classroom theory sessions followed immediately by practical hands-on training sessions. (Table A-VI/2-2, STCW78 as amended).

Upon successful completion, participants will be issued:
- AMSA approved AMC Certificate meeting the requirements of Table A-VI/2-2, STCW78 as amended.
