Deck Officer Revalidation Refresher Components Only
Course Prerequisites
To be eligible for the issue of an AMSA approved certificate, participants must produce: A current Australian issued Certificate of Competency (CoC). Pre “STCW95” CoCs – an ARPA certificate is also required.
Course Duration
3 days (including a 3 hour session conducted after hours).Course Aim
This course is designed for those seafarers who hold an AMSA issued Master, Chief Mate or Deck Watchkeeper, STCW78 as amended Certificate of Competency or Certificate of Recognition and have insufficient qualifying sea service (at least 12 months on the appropriate vessels in total within the preceding five (5) years, or at least 3 months such service in total within the preceding 6 months) to revalidate their Certificate of Competency.
