Course Prerequisites

Candidates must possess keyboard skills to a minimum of 10 words per minute at 98% accuracy. A current passport photograph is also required

Course Aim

Successful candidates will be entitled to apply for an AMSA GMDSS General Operator’s Certificate (GOC).  A well-equipped “live” GMDSS laboratory is provided.  The course fee includes text books.

Upon successful completion, candidates will be issued:

AMSA approved AMC Certificate meeting the requirements of Table A-IV/2, STCW78 as amended
