The aim of the MRM course is to minimise the risk of incidents by encouraging safe and responsible behaviour. The course aims to foster positive attitudes favouring good personal communication, excellence in leadership skills and compliance with operating procedures.
MRM is ideal for deck and engineering officers together with maritime pilots. The objective is to ensure that sound resource management practices underpin everyday operations.
This course includes the principles regarding BRM as outlined in Section B-VIII/2, Part 3-1 of the STCW Code. AMC Search is licensed by the Swedish Club to conduct the MRM course.
