AMC’s Shiphandling Simulator underwent a multi-million dollar upgrade in 2009. The Centre for Marine Simulation offers users a new realism in maritime simulation, comprising the following, – all of which can be stand alone or be interfaced with each other:

• Full mission bridge DNV Class A
• 6 x Ship Operations Bridges
• Tug Bridge with 2 x Azi Pod controls for ASD tugs

The simulator is an integral part of a number of short courses offered by AMC Search.

• Automatic Radar Plotting Aids (ARPA)
• Electronic Chart Display Information System (ECDIS)
• High-Speed Navigation
• Large Tonnage Vessel Upgrade
• Maritime Resource Management (MRM)
