Course Prerequisites
Basic Fire Fighting Certificate (issued by an AMSA approved training provider), completed more than 4 months prior; or an overseas Advanced Fire Fighting Certificate.

Course Duration

Organisation and control of resources in the event of fire on board ship. Fire prevention and training strategies, inspection and maintenance of fire fighting equipment. Fire safety preparedness and training on board.
Certificate
Upon successful completion, candidates will be issued:
AMSA approved AMC Certificate meeting the requirements of Table A- VI/3, STCW78 as amended.
