The AMC’s firefighting facility is located on a 2.4 hectare site at Bell Bay, 45 kms from the college. The Centre is equipped with a full range of modern fire fighting equipment and specialises in practical, hands-on training. Such training includes the fighting of liquid and gas fires and the fighting of fires in a mock-up ship’s structure using self-contained breathing apparatus.
