Content

The course is tailored to suit project staff employed in offshore project design and installation engineering, as well as offshore supervisory roles.

Roles that would benefit from the course include, but are not limited to:

• Field Engineers
• Project Managers
• Offshore Construction Managers
• Dive Supervisors
• ROV Supervisors
• Project Shift (Bridge) Supervisors

The course outlines DP system components, and the capabilities of DP equipped vessels. Course participants will become aware of the DP system’s individual elements and their practical use, as well as the effects of system failures and the concept of redundancy. The course focuses on key guidelines and documentation affecting DP construction operations, and analyses the impact of common project tasks on the vessel. By combining these elements, participants will be able to best utilise DP equipped vessels in construction related tasks, as well as understand their limitations.

Certificate

Upon successful completion, participants will be issued with an AMC Dynamic Positioning – Familiarisation (Offshore Project Crew) Certificate
