The course will highlight key guidelines and documentation affecting the management and operation of DP vessels so that participants are able to support or manage safe and efficient DP vessel operations. It outlines DP system components, and the capabilities of DP equipped vessels. Course participants will become familiar with the technical elements of DP systems, their practical use, as well as the effects of system failures and the concept of redundancy.
This course is tailored to suit management staff of offshore construction contractors, DP vessel owners/operators, manning agents, oil field operators or other companies that own operate or utilise the services of DP equipped vessels.
