To provide the basic theoretical and practical knowledge to satisfy the Nautical Institute requirements for phase one.
Certificate
Upon successful completion, candidates will be issued with an AMC Dynamic Positioning – Basic Certificate which is approved by the Nautical Institute.
Candidates must attend both Basic and Advanced DP courses and meet the Nautical Institute’s DP operator sea time experience in order to become certified DP operators. Details are available on the Institute’s website: www.nautinst.org
