Short Courses

AMC Search offers a wide range of short courses, both scheduled and to client’s specific requirements. AMC Search markets and administers short courses on behalf of AMC which retains academic control of all courses.  AMC’s mandatory short courses meet the requirements of the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) and comply with the International Maritime Organisation’s STCW78 (as amended).

AMC Search have created a virtual calendar to reflect the continuously updated schedule of short courses.

Full range of short courses available

AMC Search runs the largest suite of maritime related short courses in Australia, which are categorised on the right and shown below.

The courses scheduled will represent only around half of the programme actually delivered by AMC Search in 2012, as many more courses will be provided based on demand by clients – often at short notice due to changes in work schedules and crewing arrangements.  Many courses will also be delivered on client premises, providing a more cost effective and timely solution to client needs.

Should you wish to discuss your particular training needs, please contact our General Manager of Operations, Catherine Wilson.
